What do General Merchandise and Food & Beverage teams do?

We are a team of experts who ensure a consistent experience for our guests. We handle operations, processes, and efficiency to make sure products are available, accurately priced, and presented well on the sales floor. We lead inbound and outbound tasks, inventory management, and pricing processes. Our team also oversees Food & Beverage and Food Service, focusing on freshness, quality, and a safe experience for our guests.

What skills and experiences can you gain at Target?

• Knowledge of providing excellent guest service and supporting a guest-first culture
• Retail business fundamentals, including sales trends, inventory management, and process efficiency
• Ability to manage daily/weekly workload to achieve sales goals
• Understanding of food seasonality, freshness, quality, safety standards, and merchandising
