    Job Description

    At ALDI, we believe in supporting and including people from all walks of life. We are currently hiring for the role of Solutions Analyst in our National IT Services department. This department plays a crucial role in supporting every part of our organization, from Finance and Project Management to Logistics, Operations, Warehouse, and more.

    As a Solutions Analyst, you will lead and support our brand new Information Governance Program. This program focuses on managing projects that support information governance and implementing program components such as policies, standards, retention schedules, employee communications, education and training, compliance, and program assessment. We are looking for a candidate who is a self-starter, a team player, and has experience leading projects across functional teams. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with information governance policies, assisting with data classification and information sharing practices, and developing methods of compliance monitoring. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) are essential as this role requires presenting to and training diversely skilled audiences. Your input, ideas, recommendations, evaluations, and improvements will be valued as we continue to review and improve our information governance standards.

    This role is eligible for our Hybrid Work Program, allowing remote work up to 3 days per week.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    The Solutions Analyst will:

    • Identify project issues and recommend corrective action
    • Evaluate and recommend the use of off-the-shelf or custom-developed software
    • Provide input on personnel hiring and performance
    • Recommend process improvements
    • Manage national projects of lesser scope
    • Understand business processes and recommend changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
    • Communicate and model company strategy and core values to create a positive work environment
    • Ensure compliance with standards and guidelines
    • Prepare user documentation and program updates
    • Maintain security and integrity of information
    • Coordinate with national and international teams for project delivery
    • Support the overall IT service management processes
    • Report on project health and support project managers
    • Act as a knowledge source and mentor for team members
    • Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to leadership
    • Uphold the security and confidentiality of documents and data
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Education and Experience:

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent knowledge gained through education and experience
    • A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Business or Information Technology
    • Experience in project management, execution, and training on Information Governance topics
    • Experience in contract review processes associated with data privacy legislation compliance
    • Experience with Microsoft 365 & Compliance Center, OneTrust, and legal holds
    • Experience in information usage policy development and end-user compliance training
    • Certification such as Certified Information Professional (CIP) or Information Governance Professional (IGP) is preferred

    Physical Requirements:

    The work may be performed in an office or remote office setting. Regular activities include sitting, reaching, grasping, standing, and moving between areas. The use of a keyboard and mouse is constant. Occasional activities may involve pushing, pulling, bending, lifting, and moving up to 25 lbs.

    Travel:

    International and domestic travel may be required, up to 10% of the time.
