    Job Description

    Job Description: Over the Road Driver

    We are looking for reliable individuals to join our team as Over the Road Drivers. As an Over the Road Driver, your main responsibility will be to safely and efficiently transport freight over long distances between our company and customer facilities, terminals, yards, or work sites. You will operate tractor-trailer combinations and may need to drop, hook, spot, or interchange equipment for loading or unloading at various locations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Follow company policies, federal, state, and local regulations to ensure secure and safe operation of the commercial motor vehicle (CMV)
    • Read and understand instructions on manifests, bills of lading, and other shipping documents to determine delivery location and time
    • Safely operate tractor trailer equipment in different configurations under various weather, terrain, road, and traffic conditions
    • Communicate with Dispatch/Operations regarding movements, equipment issues, cargo, and delays

    Qualifications:

    • At least 2 years of commercial driver's license (CDL) experience
    • Hazardous Materials (Haz-Mat) Certification
    • Be at least 23 years old
    • Willingness to travel 100% of the time
