About the On-Demand Team:

As an On-Demand Team Member at Target, you have the flexibility to work as much or as little as you like. Your schedule will vary based on shift availability and store needs. This role is perfect for those seeking a personalized work schedule.

As an On-Demand Team Member, you will have the opportunity to pick up shifts that work best for your schedule through our myTime mobile scheduling app.

We require active engagement by picking up and working shifts, as well as responding to our communication attempts throughout the year. Regular attendance is necessary, and you must work at least one shift within 6 months to maintain employment.

If selected, you will attend a Target Welcome orientation and undergo structured training to ensure you are prepared for your role.

About the Guest Advocate Role:

Guest Advocates at Target are responsible for providing exceptional service and creating an inclusive guest experience. They exceed guest expectations by focusing on guest interaction and problem-solving.

As a Guest Advocate, your responsibilities may include:

• Welcoming and greeting guests with authenticity
• Observing and understanding guest needs through body language and verbal cues
• Engaging with guests to better understand their specific needs
• Providing knowledge about products, services, and store offerings
• Thanking guests for choosing Target
• Efficiently scanning and bagging items at checkout
• Minimizing guest wait time while maintaining accuracy
• Informing guests about brand launches, activities, and events
• Assisting guests with applications for the Target RedCard
• Guiding guests on using the Target app and related features
• Resolving guest concerns and de-escalating negative situations
• Delivering seamless service to Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Promoting ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
