About the Role

• Lead the centralized data functions at Checkr, including data infrastructure, governance, and machine learning.
• Manage the Product Analytics team, the largest data team at Checkr.
• Collaborate with data organizations in other departments, such as RevOps, CorpEng/BI teams, and finance.
• Drive the overall data strategy at Checkr and own both internal and customer-facing data use cases.
• Provide actionable business insights to product and cross-functional leaders.
• Create a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture.
• Partner with product leadership to influence business strategy through data-driven decision making.
• Hire, retain, and scale a world-class data team.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success in building and leading platform engineering initiatives.
• Experience driving successful platform adoption programs and measuring their impact on the business.
• Data-driven mindset with a focus on understanding customer behavior and sentiment.
• Experience scaling modern products, such as APIs and self-service platforms.
• Effective communicator with good people instincts and the ability to work with a diverse group.
• Willingness to lead in a hands-on, high-performance environment.
• Organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and accountable.
• Experience leading and retaining high-performance engineering leadership.

Salary

One of Checkr’s core values is Transparency. The salary range for this role is $316,667 to $372,917. We use geographic cost of labor to determine specific salary ranges for different locations.
