    We are currently hiring for the position of Culinary Management Trainee at Wegmans. As a trainee, you will embark on a structured training program that allows you to gain hands-on experience in the kitchen, enhancing your culinary skills and passion.     What will I do?

    • Learn and work alongside experienced Wegmans Chefs to develop your skills in different culinary areas
    • Offer guidance and suggestions to customers on meal preparation, food pairings, and cooking techniques
    • Supervise the Restaurant Foods operation to optimize sales and ensure high-quality, appealing products
    • Use Wegmans' extensive library of recipes and techniques to maintain consistency and quality in food preparation
    • Introduce and educate others about new programs and initiatives at Wegmans

    Required Qualifications:

    • Prior experience as a Lead Cook or in a similar supervisory role
    • Culinary experience
    • Successful completion of a cook test based on a prescribed menu, conducted during the interview process

    Preferred Experience:

    • Experience working in a multi-faceted food service facility
    • Associates degree in Culinary Arts
