The Repair Specialist performs vehicle glass repairs when a glass replacement is not needed. Our paid training program will teach you everything you need to know to complete these specialized repairs, regardless of your prior mechanical experience.

What You'll Do
Learn to repair vehicle glass through a combination of classroom training and hands-on experience, following the Safelite Way of Fitting under the guidance of experienced technicians and Safelite leaders.
Repair chips, cracks, and other auto glass issues on customer vehicles.
Manage work orders, customer documentation, and communication using our Safelite handheld Mobile Resource Management (MRM) technology.
Clean customer vehicles during wait/idle time and perform additional housekeeping tasks in company vehicles and shops.
Safely and professionally operate a company fleet vehicle to and from customer locations.
Perform other assigned duties as needed.
What You'll Need
Education: High School Diploma/GED/Equivalent.
A valid state-issued driver’s license.
Completion of Safelite SafeTech™ certification through on-the-job training.
The ability to operate a Safelite van, following all safety, cleanliness policies, traffic laws, and maintaining a safe driving record.
Flexibility with hours and workdays as workload fluctuates.
Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions.
A professional appearance and willingness to wear personal protective equipment.
Physical requirements: lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. for short periods, assisting with lifting windshields weighing 26 lbs. to 75 lbs., safely operating hand and power tools, working at elevated heights, and remaining on your feet for extended periods.
