We are currently looking for Summer Financial Analysts (FA) to join our Finance team in Buffalo, NY. Finance at Citi encompasses various disciplines, including Controllers, Treasury, Financial Planning & Analysis, Tax, Investor Relations, Capital Planning, and M&A. Finance at Citi: - We manage and communicate critical financial information for the benefit of both internal and external stakeholders. - We drive important decisions on capital planning, liquidity, budgeting, tax, strategy, and policy management. - We partner closely with global product teams to provide data and analysis that support sound decision-making. What we offer: As a Summer FA, you will start your program in Buffalo with comprehensive classroom training. These training sessions will enhance your professional development and help you develop effective work habits. You will also receive an orientation to Citi, including insights from experienced professionals in various Finance disciplines. Throughout the program, you will have the opportunity to enhance your technical finance and accounting skills, as well as improve your communication and presentation abilities. Each Summer FA is assigned both a junior and a senior mentor who will guide and support them throughout the summer. Your role during the program: The Summer FA Program is designed to provide college students with diverse experiences in Finance. During the 10-week program, you will work within a specific role in one of the Finance disciplines mentioned earlier. You will collaborate closely with management teams and contribute to the company's success. Your responsibilities may include product control, financial closings and consolidations, developing financial controls, management reporting, planning and analysis, and managing balance sheets and liquidity. The Summer FA Program also serves as a feeder pool for the Full-Time FA Program, offering valuable development opportunities and skills. Your qualifications: - Currently pursuing a BA/BS degree (Dual Bachelor's and Master's degree is a plus) - Preferred GPA of 3.3 or above - No requirement for sponsorship for U.S. work authorization - Creative problem solver with a curious mind - Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills - Enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively - Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Focused on achieving team and client objectives and skilled in building relationships - Familiarity with process improvement Who we are looking for: We are seeking candidates who have a passion for Finance and a determined mindset to succeed.
