    The pay range for this position is $67,600.00 - $121,700.00.

    Join our Supply Chain team:

    Target's Global Supply Chain and Logistics department is constantly evolving to get the right products to our guests faster and more cost-effectively. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring high equipment availability and optimizing system performance. You will work with other engineers and operational partners to improve material handling equipment and lead building automation initiatives. Your expertise will be vital in troubleshooting equipment breakdowns and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance processes.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Ensure high equipment availability and optimize system performance
    • Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and restore operations quickly
    • Collaborate with other engineers and operational partners to improve material handling equipment
    • Lead building automation, continuous improvement, and new installation initiatives
    • Serve as an escalated support resource during downtime events
    • Proactively monitor the health of the building's material handling equipment
    • Maintain expertise in electrical, mechanical, and control system communication aspects
    • Analyze data and recommend improvements to building automation
    • Conduct technical interviews and train and coach technicians
    • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment

    About you:

    • Two or four-year Degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering or equivalent degree/experience
    • Available to work all days and shifts, including holidays
    • Industrial electrical hands-on experience and troubleshooting skills
    • Experience with installing and maintaining software and hardware
    • Strong organization and problem-solving skills
    • Extensive experience in automated conveyor systems, preventive/predictive maintenance, blueprint and schematic reading, industrial electrical, HMI interfaces and programming, industrial controls, industrial electronics, PLC programs, and server-based controls
