The Operations Summer Analyst 2023 Program offers a unique opportunity for new employees to learn about the Financial Services Industry while developing the necessary skills to succeed in ICG Operations. As technology continues to transform global markets, Financial Operations Analysts face new challenges. ICG Operations is the heart of our business, supporting the Capital Markets Investment Banking, Cash, Trade, and Cards businesses. We ensure smooth global transactions, lightning-fast execution, and complete visibility, so that our clients can trust us to deliver. Without us, trillions of dollars' worth of trades and global currency movement would come to a standstill. Responsibilities: - The 10-week Summer Analyst Program starts in June each year - Participants have the opportunity to join Citi's mentorship program for additional support and guidance - The program covers essential financial operations knowledge and key skills, including Banking and Financial Markets, Asset Classes, Trade Flows, Risk Management, Regulation, Professional Skills, and Technological Literacy. Qualifications: The ICG Operations Summer Analyst Program is designed to enhance operations process modernization and transformation with innovative solutions and technical efficiencies. We're looking for individuals who meet the following criteria: - Current penultimate year university students (expected graduation May/June 2024) - Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management Systems, Mathematics, or related fields - Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above - Must not require sponsorship for U.S. work authorization - Strong focus on productivity, seeking new ways to support clients' changing needs - Bring a fresh perspective and actively drive change - Effective written and oral communication skills, as well as strong analytical and Microsoft product skills - Strong record of achievement (academic and otherwise) - Passion for exceptional customer and client service - Flexible and hardworking with the ability to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment Who we think will be a great fit: We believe that a dedication to continuous learning and a true passion for the business are essential.
