As an On-Demand Team Member, you have the flexibility to choose how much or how little you want to work. Your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for individuals looking for a personalized work schedule.

As an On-Demand Team Member, you have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts that work best for you. You will not be included on the posted weekly schedule, but instead, you can use our myTime mobile scheduling app to view and select available shifts.

We require active engagement from our On-Demand Team Members. This includes picking up and working shifts as well as responding to our attempts to contact you.

We will reach out to you throughout the year using the contact information you provide to confirm your availability and interest in working shifts at Target. If we do not receive a response, your employment with Target will be terminated.

Regular attendance is necessary, and you must work at least one shift within 6 months, or your employment will be terminated.

Your communication and availability to work when our business needs it most are essential for success in this role.

If offered a position as an On-Demand Team Member, you will attend a Target Welcome orientation and undergo a structured training schedule to prepare you for your new role. After that, you can use the myTime mobile scheduling app to choose the shifts you want to work.

ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT

As a Guest Advocate, you will provide exceptional service to our guests and exceed their expectations. You will deliver a welcoming and inclusive experience, solve issues, promote our offerings, and ensure a seamless shopping experience.

As a Guest Advocate, expect no two days to be the same. Your responsibilities may include:

• Prioritizing the guest service experience
• Greeting all guests warmly
• Observing and understanding guest needs
• Engaging with guests sincerely and asking questions to better understand their specific needs
• Being knowledgeable about the products, services, and solutions available in the store
• Expressing gratitude to guests and making them feel valued
• Efficiently scanning and bagging items while maintaining accuracy
• Working to minimize guest wait times
• Informing guests about upcoming events and promotions
• Promoting the benefits of the Target RedCard and assisting with the application process
• Assisting guests with enrollment and usage of various fulfillment services
• Showing guests how to use the Target App features and offerings
• Handling returns and resolving any concerns
• Providing excellent service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
• Maintaining a clean work area and stocking supplies
• Following safety and compliance procedures
• Supporting guest services such as order pick up and drive-up

• Regular attendance, working at least one shift within 6 months
