    Job Description

    Job Title: SVP, Lead Reviewer Trading Book - Regulatory Capital

    About the Job:

    The Confirmation of Basel Classification Review & Analysis (COBRA) team is responsible for providing an independent review and challenge of regulatory capital treatment. We are currently hiring for the role of SVP, Lead Reviewer Trading Book, who will be responsible for managing the review and challenge of regulatory capital treatment of exposures across Citi's Trading Book.

    Responsibilities:

    - Lead COBRA Reviews to assess the application of US Basel Rules for Risk Weighted Assets (RWA) requirements, with a focus on markets transactions and counterparty credit risk. - Maintain effective communication with the Business, Finance, and Independent Risk to ensure a clear understanding of US Basel Rule requirements and associated governance processes. - Assess counterparty credit risk and market risk for Securities Financing Transactions and Over-the-Counter transactions. - Evaluate the Business's governance and oversight to identify deficiencies in RWA calculations. - Provide critical challenge to proposed regulatory capital adjustments and corrective action plans resulting from COBRA Reviews. - Training on various US Basel Rule topics. - Ad-hoc projects designated by GRR Management.

    Qualifications:

    - Strong understanding of US Basel Rules for Advanced, Standardized, and Markets requirements, as well as upcoming key Basel regulations. - Demonstrable experience in market risk and/or counterparty credit risk resulting from markets transactions. - Ability to analyze complex transactions and understand underlying risks. - Familiarity with the bank regulatory environment and industry regulators is advantageous. - Knowledge of credit and markets policy matters. - Strong analytical skills and ability to identify root causes and anticipate issues.

    Skills and Competencies:

    - Ability to interact effectively with senior stakeholders and across different control functions. - Strong project and time management skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely to audiences of varying levels. - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships and exert influence. - Attention to detail. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

    Salary Range:

    $141,440.00 - $212,160.00
