Location: Full-Time, Hybrid, Boston, MA or Springfield, MA

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled accountant to join our Controls Oversight team in the Controller's Organization. As a Controls Oversight Associate, you will work with a diverse and passionate team to ensure high-quality work is delivered in a timely manner. You will contribute to financial controls processes and monitor deficiencies within the CFO organization. About the Team

As part of the broader Accounting Policy/Advisory and Controls Oversight team in the Controllers Organization of Corporate Finance, you will be a key contributor to monitoring the health of our financial controls environment. Our team focuses on continuous improvement and collaborates closely with internal stakeholders and external auditors/project consultants. We value accountability, collaboration, and work together to make our processes better.

Your Impact

As a Controls Oversight Associate, you will work closely with the Accounting Policy/Advisory and Controls Oversight Director to oversee the company's financial internal control environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring control deficiencies and partnering with process/deficiency owners to address known and emerging issues
• Supporting and overseeing the testing of internal controls
• Assisting in managing and reporting on control issue trends
• Improving the standardization of control deficiency assessment and remediation plan development process
• Performing quality review procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of controls

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• At least 1 year of experience in financial analysis and reporting
• Knowledge of US GAAP or Statutory accounting/reporting

Ideal Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent preferred
• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis and reporting
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification
• Strong communication skills
• Accountability and commitment
• Ability to solve unique or complex business problems
• Customer focus, innovation, strategic thinking, relationship building, and influencing skills
• Proactive approach to assignments and driving them to completion
• Curiosity for continuous learning and growth
• Ability to multitask and adapt to change
• Experience in Finance transformational setting and driving continuous improvements
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
