Responsibilities:
- Code, test, analyze, design, and implement business applications
- Understand FM Global's business goals and develop solutions that align with those goals
- Collaborate with senior team members to prepare technical specifications and participate in design reviews
- Create and review documentation for application maintenance and extension
- Provide input for estimating timeframes and requirements for tasks
- Develop technical expertise to support systems of varying complexity
- Participate in testing and debugging of the overall system
- Support the implementation of applications into production
- Evaluate defined business requirements and processes in collaboration with IT colleagues and stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field
- At least 2 years of experience in business application development, including report design, development, and support
- Experience with technologies such as SQL, database skills, query language, reporting and scripting languages
- Ability to translate requirements into technical processes and business system designs
- Experience in unit testing software environments
- Proficiency in report writing using software like COGNOS, SQL, and Power BI
- Telecommuting allowed
- Can reside anywhere in the United States
- Able to work Eastern Time Zone (EST) business hours and attend occasional meetings at our Corporate Office in Johnston, Rhode Island

Work Location: Telecommuting is permitted. Can reside anywhere in the United States. Must be able to work Eastern Time Zone (EST) business hours and attend ad hoc meetings at the Corporate Office in Johnston, Rhode Island at a minimum of 1 time per quarter.
Salary: $85,862 to $128,600 per year
