    What You Will Do :

    As a member of the Energy, Sustainability & Infrastructure Analytics team, you will have the opportunity to perform a wide range of analytics-related activities in support of model development and client projects. This includes tasks such as modeling the lowest cost pathways to achieve decarbonization goals, forecasting the adoption of distributed energy resources at detailed geographical levels, and evaluating the impact of customer-facing energy programs.

    We are looking for someone who is passionate about creative problem solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn, be challenged, and develop skills at a fast pace. Formal training programs will also be provided to equip you with the diverse skills required for success.

    Key responsibilities for this position may include:

    • Analyzing large and complex datasets

    • Developing models using statistical analysis, regression modeling, optimization, predictive modeling, simulation, machine learning, and economic models

    • Programming skills in Python and R, and knowledge of source code version control technologies (Git)

    • Research and analysis on energy-related activities

    • Interpreting and communicating technical findings to non-technical audiences

    • Contributing to report development, presentations, and client requests

    • Managing time and tasks independently

    • Working effectively with teams and independently as needed

    What You Will Need :

    • Minimum Years of Experience: 0 years

    • Minimum Degree Required: Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program and expected to graduate by Summer of 2023

    • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the country

    What Would Be Nice To Have :

    • Preferred Academic Backgrounds: Computer Science/Computer Information Systems, Business Technology, Systems Management, Finance, Accounting, Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering

    • Knowledge and understanding of project management principles

    • Experience planning and executing projects of varying degrees of complexity

    • Experience working in teams to produce work products in a fast-paced environment

    • Strong oral and written communication skills

    • Attention to detail and the ability to create technical and non-technical written work products

    • Ability to view problems from multiple angles and apply different solutions

    • Ability to participate in client-facing discussions and meetings

    • Quick learner and passionate about representing the company's brand

    The annual salary range for this position is $60,600.00-$109,100.00. Compensation decisions depend on various factors such as skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
