    Job Summary

    As a Pharmacy Sales Consultant at McKesson, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact in healthcare. You will work with payors, hospitals, pharmacies, and other healthcare organizations to build healthier systems that deliver better care to patients. Your role will involve developing strategies, building relationships with pharmacy owners, and promoting McKesson as a trusted partner. This is a field-based position with travel required within your assigned region.

    Responsibilities

    • Achieve annual sales objectives for your assigned territory
    • Create a comprehensive business plan to optimize territory performance
    • Lead the sales process from qualification to negotiation for all opportunities
    • Build a robust opportunity pipeline through cold calling and coordinated efforts
    • Provide marketing advice, financial analysis, and competitive data to customers
    • Deliver sales presentations and demonstrations to grow existing business and win new accounts
    • Maintain accurate data in our CRM system and provide real-time sales forecasts
    • Collaborate with other departments to solve customer problems and enhance relationships
    • Participate in sales team presentations and contribute to business growth
    • Special projects as assigned

    Minimum Requirements

    • 1+ years of medical and/or pharmacy experience
    • 3+ years of B2B field sales experience
    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
    • Ability to travel regionally and stay overnight as required

    Education

    • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred

    Critical Skills

    • 4+ years of sales experience in healthcare preferred
    • 4+ years of B2B sales experience
    • Experience in the retail/distribution, healthcare delivery, pharmacy, or insurance industry helpful
    • Consultative sales approach and ability to articulate value proposition
    • Proficiency with CRM and MS Office Suite
    • Strong business and financial acumen
    • Excellent analysis, problem solving, and negotiation skills
    • Teamwork and collaboration skills
    • Effective communication and active listening abilities
    • Ability to navigate complex environments
    • Self-motivated and eager to learn
    • Strong organizational skills

    Working Conditions

    • Must be authorized to work in the US unrestricted
    • Extensive travel within assigned region required
    • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
    • Remote/home office work environment
