    We are presently looking for a SOFTWARE ENGINEER II

     

    IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL BE:

     

    Responsible for developing and supporting software for Rich Media. Responsible for developing software that aids in the collection and processing of images. Design components of a software system. Provide detailed documentation for all software components and applications. Provide recommendations for continuous improvement. Work alongside other engineers on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices. Work on core system components with minimal guidance. Code review peer contributions giving feedback for code quality. Work as part of a team to plan, develop, and implement high quality software solutions within the required timeframes using a Scrum-based methodology. Tools used: Aurora, Postgres, AWS, Kubernetes Docker and Ansible.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

     

    Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field with a technology focus (foreign equivalent degree acceptable) plus 3 years of experience in software development. This must include: 3 years of experience in: Agile methodologies such as Scrum and test-driven development. 2 years of experience in/with: AWS Cloud service; Python; Ruby; Kubernetes; Terraform; Docker; image processing, including Open-CV. A reasonable estimate of salary range for a new employee to be offered this role would be between $109,283 to $185,000 which would be adjusted based on each employee's geographic location. M-F, 40 hours/week.
