Position Overview:

The Second Shift Sheeter/Cutter Operator is responsible for efficiently setting up and operating a machine that cuts rolls of paper stock into specific sizes and quantities. This role requires standing or walking next to the cutter, as well as handling heavy rolls of paper and using machinery. The operator will also be cross-trained in other tasks and responsibilities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Confirming orders for accuracy and completeness. - Setting up and operating the precision cutter according to instructions. - Cross-training in various tasks as assigned. Required Qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent education/training. - Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing) and ability to read metric measurements. - Basic English reading, speaking, and understanding skills. - Familiarity with machines, tools, and their maintenance. - Computer proficiency. - Troubleshooting experience. - Understanding of the USA dating system. - Knowledge of Lock Out/Tag Out procedures. - Ability to perform multiple tasks and compare information accurately. - Ability to crawl into small spaces and reach all areas of the cutter. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in machine repair and maintenance. - Experience in raw material inventory management.
