    Job Description

    Community Education Program Manager

    Job Summary: Our goal is to inspire and support every individual, regardless of their background, to achieve their dreams, contribute to their community, and continue learning throughout their lives. As a Community Education Program Manager, you will work closely with the Early Childhood & Family Education (EC&FE) Program Coordinator and staff to develop, administer, implement, and evaluate district-wide EC&FE programs. Your role requires extensive knowledge of child and family development, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.

    Duties Include:

    • Provide leadership and development support for program areas
    • Recruit, train, and supervise non-licensed staff
    • Support ongoing community needs assessment
    • Develop and implement marketing and outreach plans based on community needs
    • Manage grants and initiatives, including reporting
    • Handle data management and communication with stakeholders
    • Monitor program finances, including tuition collection
    • Analyze enrollment data to inform future program needs
    • Assist with other Community Education program areas as required

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred in Education, Business Administration, or related field
    • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in public school and/or community-based early childhood and family education
    • At least 3 years of experience supervising Community Education programs and staff

    Desired:

    • Teaching license in parent education and/or early childhood
    • Experience teaching in ECFE or similar programs
    • Experience with home visiting and PreK-3rd grade alignment
    • Experience with outreach and/or marketing programs
    • Experience working with diverse populations
    • Experience working with families of low socio-economic status

    Work schedule: Core hours will be developed upon hire and may flex with supervisor approval. This is a salaried position that includes summer hours. Some evening and weekend hours may be required.
