Join as an On-Demand TM

As an On-Demand TM at Target, you have the flexibility to work as much or as little as you like. Your schedule may vary based on shift availability and store needs. This role is perfect for those seeking a personalized work schedule.

As an On-Demand TM, you have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts that are posted by leaders or other team members. You can do this through our myTime mobile scheduling app, which allows you to find shifts that work best for you.

Active engagement is important in this role. You will need to pick up and work shifts, as well as respond to our attempts to contact you. Regular attendance is necessary, and you must work at least one shift within 6 months to maintain employment with Target.

When you join as an On-Demand TM, you will attend a Target Welcome orientation and go through a short-term structured training to prepare you for your new role. After that, you can easily pick up shifts through the myTime mobile scheduling app.

What does being a Guest Advocate at Target mean?

As a Guest Advocate, you will be the face of Target and play a crucial role in providing an inclusive and welcoming experience for our guests. You will interact with guests both in-person and digitally, ensuring their needs are met and their concerns are resolved.

Some of your responsibilities as a Guest Advocate include:

• Becoming knowledgeable about the products, services, and features in the store
• Greeting guests and offering assistance
• Listening to guests and understanding their specific needs
• Providing information about benefits, offerings, and services
• Scanning and bagging items efficiently and in compliance with safety standards
• Minimizing guest wait time while ensuring accuracy
• Informing guests about upcoming events and promotions
• Promoting the Target RedCard and assisting guests with the application process
• Assisting guests with fulfillment services like Order Pick Up and Drive Up
• Keeping the work area clean and organized
• Following all safety policies and best practices
