Job Description

We are hiring for the role of Financial Crimes Risk Officer. This position involves managing risks and staying updated on regulatory changes and industry trends in Citi's Treasury & Trade Solutions organization. We are looking for someone with basic financial institution experience and knowledge of payments and trade transaction processing. Good communication skills are important as you will be advising stakeholders from different businesses and functions. This job offers the opportunity to make a significant impact through complex deliverables.

Responsibilities:

• Advise and support financial crimes risk and control frameworks for the organization
• Work with internal and external audit processes to ensure appropriate outcomes
• Develop implementation and change management processes to ensure proper governance and controls
• Examine procedures for consistency and potential gaps in relation to changes in regulations and policies
• Identify and monitor exceptions to policies, using data to track and remediate issues
• Act as a subject matter expert on financial crimes for senior stakeholders and colleagues
• Assess risk and make appropriate business decisions in accordance with applicable laws and regulations

Qualifications:

• 6-10 years of relevant work experience in financial institutions
• Experience in AML, sanctions, and anti-bribery and corruption preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ideal candidate would have transaction banking product experience in payments and/or trade
• ACAMS certification preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lead global team initiatives
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to operate with limited direct supervision

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
