Job Opportunity: Guest Advocate at Target

Hourly Rate: $16.75 USD (Starting)

About On Demand:

If you enjoy a flexible work schedule, then On Demand TM (Team Member) role is perfect for you. You can work as much or as little as you like, based on your availability and our store needs. As an On Demand TM, you have the freedom to create your own schedule by picking up shifts that fit your preferences through our myTime mobile scheduling app.

We will reach out to you periodically to check your availability and interest in working shifts. Regular attendance and active engagement are important for your success in this role. Attending a Target Welcome orientation and a short-term structured training schedule is required before you can start picking up shifts using the myTime app.

About Service & Engagement:

As a Guest Advocate, your main focus is providing exceptional service to our guests. You will welcome, thank, and exceed their expectations by delivering outstanding guest interaction and resolving any concerns. You will also promote and sell various benefits, offerings, and services that enhance the guest experience.

In this role, no two days are the same, but your typical responsibilities may include:

• Creating a welcoming experience for guests by greeting them authentically
• Observing and understanding guests' needs through verbal and non-verbal cues
• Engaging with guests by asking questions to better understand their specific needs
• Becoming knowledgeable about products, services, and store features to assist guests and improve their experience
• Maintaining clean and organized work areas, and stocking supplies
• Ensuring safety compliance and following company policies and procedures

Additional Information:

• Accurate cash register operations and cash handling
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds
• Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Active engagement and response to shifts through the myTime mobile app
