Job Responsibilities: - Collaborate with physicians and technical staff to care for heart rhythm patients undergoing cardiac ablation and syncope testing. - Analyze external and internal cardiac electrograms. - Use ultrasound guidance to obtain central line access. - Perform sterile scrub for patients undergoing invasive cardiac studies. - Independently perform technical, medical, and nursing functions with collaboration from the cardiac lab team. As a registered nurse (RN), you will be responsible for coordinating nursing care, including direct patient care, education for patients and families, and transitions of care. You will work within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model, ensuring the highest standards of care. The role may involve leadership activities, mentoring, teaching, and participation in quality improvement efforts. Job Qualifications: - Graduate of a recognized nursing program with a minimum of three years of RN experience in a PCU or ICU setting. - Ability to wear a lead-filled apron for radiation protection. - Desire to learn advanced cardiac rhythms. - Comfortable with technology and working independently. Benefits and Schedule: - Competitive hourly compensation ranging from $38.34 to $57.54. - Full-time position, with 72 hours per pay period. - Monday to Friday schedule, consisting of a variety of day shifts. - One weekend every 18 weeks and on-call shifts for weekdays.
