About the On-Demand Team Member Position

As an On-Demand Team Member, you have the flexibility to work as much or as little as you like. Your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is perfect for those looking for a personalized work schedule.

• You can create your own schedule by picking up shifts that work best for you.
• We require your active engagement by picking up and working shifts, as well as responding to our attempts at contact.
• If we do not receive a response to our communication attempts, your employment with Target will be terminated.
• Regular attendance is necessary, and you must work at least one shift within 6 months.
• If selected for the position, you will attend a Target Welcome orientation and a short-term structured training schedule.

About Service & Engagement

As a Guest Advocate, your role is to provide exceptional service to our guests. You will welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations. You will also promote and sell various benefits, offerings, and services. Your responsibilities may include:

• Creating a welcoming experience for guests by authentically greeting them
• Understanding and addressing guests' specific needs
• Informing guests about available products, services, and benefits
• Thanking guests for choosing Target and ensuring a positive shopping experience
• Assisting guests with returns and resolving any concerns
• Delivering seamless service to guests utilizing different fulfillment services
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Working in accordance with safety policies and procedures

Additional Requirements

• Accurate handling of cash register operations and cash transactions
• Ability to lift or move merchandise up to 15 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally
• Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Active engagement by picking up and working shifts, as well as responding to contact attempts
