All About On Demand

As an On-Demand TM (Team Member), you have the flexibility to work as much or as little as you like. Your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is perfect for those looking for a personalized work schedule. Rather than being included on the posted weekly schedule, you will have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts that work best for you. You can easily access and manage your schedule through our myTime mobile scheduling app. We require your active engagement by picking up and working shifts as well as promptly responding to our attempts to contact you. Your communication and availability when our business needs it most are crucial to your success in this role.

All About Service & Engagement

As a Guest Advocate, you play an important role in creating a welcoming and inclusive experience for our guests. You exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and problem-solving. You are knowledgeable about our products and services, both in-store and digital, and use your skills to drive guest loyalty. Your responsibilities may include greeting and assisting guests, promoting benefits and offerings, scanning and bagging items, providing information about brand launches and store activities, and supporting various fulfillment services such as Order Pick Up and Drive Up. Additionally, you maintain a clean and clutter-free work area, prioritize safety and compliance, and uphold Target's policies and procedures.

We value effective communication, a welcoming attitude, attention to detail, the ability to learn and adapt to new technology, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Cash handling skills, the ability to lift or move merchandise, and flexibility in your work schedule are also important. As an on-demand TM, we ask for your active engagement in picking up and working shifts through our myTime mobile app and promptly responding to our attempts to contact you. Regular attendance and working at least one shift within 6 months are necessary to maintain employment with Target.
