Short Description We are seeking individuals with a strong emphasis on customer service to join our team. This role requires ensuring quality patient scheduling, providing positive telephone etiquette, and ensuring customer satisfaction to support the mission of Cooper University Hospital. As the front-line contact person, you will greet, register, schedule, collect payments, and provide general information to patients and their families. You must be organized, take independent action, and project Cooper's values to both customers and co-workers. Additionally, you will serve as the patient's non-clinical navigator during discharge coordination. Experience Required - Minimum one year of recent registration or billing experience in a medical facility preferred. - Proficiency in patient registration, scheduling, medical insurance pre-certifications, authorizations, and referrals preferred. - Epic experience preferred. - Excellent organizational, written/verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team. - Demonstrated performance of excellent customer service skills. Education Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Special Requirements - Customer service oriented attitude/behavior with a pleasant and poised demeanor and excellent phone etiquette. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in computer usage. - NAHAM Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) certification preferred. Scheduled Days/Hours Monday to Friday
