Job Description We are seeking a Clinical Medical Physicist to provide essential medical physics services for our Department of Radiation Oncology. As a Clinical Medical Physicist, your responsibilities include: - Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practice recommendations. - Calibrating, maintaining, and performing quality assurance for equipment. - Reviewing and approving treatment plans. - Managing equipment and software issues, troubleshooting, and coordinating technical support. - Implementing new technology, including acceptance, commissioning, and training. - Continuously evaluating and improving departmental processes and capabilities. In addition to your clinical duties, you will also have opportunities to participate in research and educational efforts, support and assist healthcare professionals, and implement improvements to facilitate their work. Experience Required - Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience in Therapeutic Medical Physics. Education Requirements - Graduate degree in medical physics or a related field is required. - PhD is preferred. License/Certification Requirements - ABR/ABMP certification is strongly preferred.
