Job Opportunity: Scam Prevention Specialist Are you passionate about making a difference and protecting people from scams? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Scam Prevention Specialist. We are looking for someone who is dedicated to providing strategic direction and establishing policies to combat scams targeting our customers. Responsibilities: - Serve as the main contact and subject matter expert for scams targeting our consumer portfolio customers, including credit card and retail bank customers - Stay updated on the latest scam fraud trends and identify future risks - Develop innovative solutions to prevent, detect, and mitigate scams - Collaborate with industry peers, associations, and internal teams (such as Marketing and Digital) to develop education programs and reduce successful scam activities - Work with global teams to enhance customer messaging and mitigation efforts - Partner with Reporting & Analytics teams to quantify scams and monitor key performance indicators - Collaborate with Strategy Analytics teams to detect and mitigate scams in real-time - Equip customer-facing agents with tools and training to efficiently protect customers from scams - Identify first-party scam losses misclassified as third-party fraud claims or intentional abuse - Provide scam updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders - Develop a roadmap and assess tools for business investment to support our strategic vision for fraud prevention Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience in fraud or credit risk management, specifically in fraud prevention, AML, financial crimes, or credit abuse - 6+ years of experience in the financial services industry, with knowledge of credit card and/or retail banking products - Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to derive insights from data and reporting sources - Understanding of the threat landscape, industry trends, and regulatory requirements - Strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate in an inclusive work environment - Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences, including senior management - Forward-thinking mindset, with a vision that anticipates and responds to changes Education: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, Master's degree preferred If you are passionate about combating scams and want to join our team, we encourage you to apply!
