Citi Global Wealth (CGW) is dedicated to serving clients across the wealth spectrum and aims to be the leading wealth management provider globally. To support this goal, we are building a strong Risk & Control framework through an independent Internal Control organization.

Position: Issue Management Specialist

In this role, you will be responsible for effectively managing issues within CGW, including identification, monitoring, tracking, and reporting. You will report to the Head of CGW Business Risk & Controls.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively identify, manage, and oversee issues in line with firm requirements.
• Project manage the end-to-end management of assigned issues, including remediation and validation.
• Collaborate with Issue Owners to strengthen issue remediation and develop corrective action plans.
• Work with Risk and Control leads, Issue Owners, and Business Management to track timely completion of remediation.
• Perform pre-validation testing of assigned issues and ensure connectivity with enterprise-wide issue management efforts.
• Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Focus on continuous control improvements across all areas.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in business controls, internal audit, risk management, or related areas.
• Strong understanding of risk assessment processes.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS SharePoint.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
• Openness to challenge and continuously improve.
• Ability to set priorities and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated and able to work well under high stress.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Effective negotiation skills and ability to sustain independent views.
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with internal and external stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
