As a Guest Advocate at Target, you will be an advocate for our guests, exceeding their service expectations and providing assistance both in-store and online. You will empower our guests by making their shopping experience effortless and seamless.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with genuine warmth and friendly conversation
• Assist guests throughout their shopping experience, tailoring your approach to their needs
• Provide assistance at self-checkout and ensure efficient and safe scanning and bagging of items
• Inform guests about brand launches, store activities, and benefits like REDcard and Target App
• Support guests in utilizing fulfillment services such as Order Pick Up, Drive Up, Registry, and Photo
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in your work area
• Ensure ethical conduct, safety, and compliance

Skills and Qualifications

• Effective communication and attentive to guest needs
• Welcoming and helpful attitude towards guests and team members
• Attention to detail while multitasking
• Willingness to educate guests and promote products and services
• Ability to adapt to evolving technology
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Additional Expectations

• Accurate handling of cash transactions
• Ability to lift and move merchandise safely, up to 15 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 40 pounds
• Flexibility in work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
