Job Responsibilities: - Accurately enter new patient and provider information into the pharmacy system. - Review referrals to ensure all necessary and correct information is received and entered. - Communicate with providers to get missing information if needed. - Process eligibility checks and enter prescription insurance information. - Troubleshoot claim rejections and provide correct information to patients. - Support medication prior authorization process by communicating with providers. - Handle calls from patients, clients, and healthcare professionals regarding order status, services, and financial support options. - Serve as a technical resource for adjudication and identify areas for improvement. - Document progress notes accurately on patient profiles. - Schedule medication delivery and payment with patients. - Coordinate patient refills to ensure therapy plan compliance. - Report adverse events and product complaints to ensure patient safety. - Perform other assigned duties. Minimum Qualifications: - 5+ years of related experience. - Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) in good standing. - High school diploma. - 2+ years of experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting. - Experience with insurance eligibility and prior authorization processes. - Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft applications. - Detail-oriented and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work in a team and be flexible. - Motivated and committed with a positive attitude. Compensation: - Competitive compensation package based on factors like performance, experience, and skills. - Base pay range for this position is $18.08 - $30.14 per hour.
