WE ARE SEEKING A SEASONED CPA CERTIFIED TAX PROFESSIONAL TO JOIN A WELL-ESTABLISHED AND GROWING CPA FIRM IN THE CENTRAL SAN DIEGO AREA. The position includes income tax preparation and review, accounting and bookkeeping services, tax projections, tax notice resolution and client communication.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and review simple to complex income tax returns for individuals, businesses and trusts Perform quarterly and annual bookkeeping for small businesses
• Review and respond to tax notices on the taxpayer's behalf
• Prepare tax projections for individuals and businesses
• Client communication regarding tax matters

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Active CA Certified Public Accountant license or Enrolled Agent license
• 5+ years of tax preparation and review experience for individuals, businesses and trusts
• 3+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
• 3+ years of QuickBooks experience
• Knowledge of Lacerte Tax Software
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Clear communication skills
• Excellent client service skills
