  • Responsibilities

    We are looking for distribution inspectors for a long-term opportunity near Salt Lake City, UT. This will be a full-time position working 40-hour weeks, with overtime required on occasion. No per diem will be provided* The Distribution Inspector performs the quality control (QC) function over the contractor’s work as a part of the quality assurance program and is responsible for the completion of all activities in his area of assignment in accordance with the appropriate specifications. Responsibilities: The specific duties and responsibilities of the inspector are as follows. Planning and organization activities include but are not limited to: • Taking a proactive approach to safety on the job site by Using the Stop Work Authority as necessary • Understanding and following documentation requirements • Understanding, monitoring, assessing, and reporting on various construction activities and items • Monitoring, assessing, and reporting on backfill activities • Monitoring, assessing, and reporting on cleanup operations • Understanding and using inspector tools for communication and documentation Qualifications: • Demonstrated inspection experience in areas such as building, utility inspection, pressure testing, welding inspection, tank inspection, coating inspection, pressure, or vessel inspection. • Gas inspection experience preferred • Live local to the Salt Lake City area or willing to relocate with no per diem. • Ability to complete several weeks of OQ training and obtain company-required OQs Compensation: $40 hourly
