Summary of the Position:
The maintenance technician III independently repairs and performs complex electrical and mechanical maintenance on various food processing equipment, systems and related controls. The person in this position independently completes changeovers on a large number of lines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Troubleshoots, repairs and performs complex electrical and mechanical maintenance on various food processing equipment, systems and related controls indendently. (45%)
Performs routine preventive maintenance on equipment. Utilizes hand and power tools to facilitate work. (40%)
Works in fabricating as needed. (10%)
Assists in other building maintenance or repair activities as needed. (5%)
Responsible for manufacturing, distributing and consistently maintaining safe and quality food by following good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP, SQF, and regulatory requirements. (Continually)
Aware and accountable in maintaining and documenting preventative controls necessary to ensure food safety and quality. (Continually)
Responsible for immediately reporting all food safety and quality issues to management. (Continually)
Responsible for partnering with others, sharing knowledge, skills and information within assigned team and across functional areas. (Continually)
Responsible for enhancing technical and functional competencies, as well as professional and leadership development. (Continually)

QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Seven plus years of experience in repair, maintenance and troubleshooting
Advanced knowledge of electrical components and wiring
Advanced mechanical skills
Advanced troubleshooting skills
Additional Information- Hours: 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm
