John Eaton Afterschool Program (JEAP) is committed to providing safe, high-quality child care for children at John Eaton Elementary School. JEAP focuses on helping our students develop socioemotional skills through play and recreational activities. We are seeking leaders who have at least 2 years of experience working with school-aged children from Pre-K through 5th grade. Responsibilities include: - Plan age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities for students - Assist students with homework - Engage students with various activities throughout the afternoon - Collaborate with other Group Leaders to plan and execute activities - Ensure student safety - Monitor students in small and large group activities - Prepare and serve snacks to students using food safety standards Hours are 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday when school is in session. Starting hourly wage $15.00. If offered employment, candidates must complete a background check and TB test. Applicants with CDA and CPR certifications are strongly encouraged to apply.
