Responsibilities: • Serve as an attentive listener when communicating with new and potential clients in order to accurately identify their unique needs prior to pursuing specific insurance sales • Collaborate with policyholders to develop insurance risk management and other profiles that specify the best policies for their evolving insurance needs • Offer personal attention when pursuing new clients through various marketing strategies to grow your existing portfolio of policyholders • Stay abreast of any changes to rules or policies within the insurance agency to effectively amend insurance programs for existing and prospective clients • Take ownership of ensuring there are accurate records of all necessary bookkeeping, client, and sales reports in order to track and communicate the status of assigned goals Qualifications: • Must be a superb communicator able to carefully analyze complex ideas like insurance programs; experience working in customer service is beneficial • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree a plus • Open to embracing the insurance industry and becoming educated about its relevant state and federal regulations • Experience using accounting or sales-related software is beneficial • Job seekers must already have or be willing to get an insurance license Compensation: $50,000+
