We are seeking a motivated and experienced Litigation Paralegal to join the team at John Michael Bailey Injury Lawyers in Memphis, TN. In this role, you will provide a high level of legal assistance to the firm’s attorneys in all aspects of litigation and trial preparation, including research, drafting legal documents, and communications with clients, courts, opposing counsel, etc. You will also serve as a legal resource by keeping on top of changes in local, state, and federal laws and regulations, as well as court decisions and developments. Responsibilities: • Drafting Complaints and other pleadings • Confirming service of process • Drafting discovery responses • Preparing for depositions, mediations, and trials Qualifications: • US Work Authorization • Minimum three years of legal experience, preferably in a personal injury law firm • Experience with legal research and drafting of pleadings, motions, discovery, and memos • Knowledge of civil procedure and court rules • Proficient with technology, including MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and e-discovery software Compensation: $45,750
