WE HAVE CURATED A SELECTION OF VENUES & HOMES THAT PROVIDE THE PERFECT SETTINGS FOR SMALL GROUP EVENTS SUCH AS CORPORATE OFF-SITES, CELEBRATIONS AND PRIVATE DINNERS, ETC. FOR OUR DISTINGUISHED CLIENTS. WE’RE LOOKING FOR A TEAM MEMBER TO WORK DIRECTLY WITH OUR DIRECTOR OF SALES TO FACILITATE OUR CLIENTS REQUESTS AND TO GROW WITH THE COMPANY IN THE COMING YEARS.

JOB SUMMARY
WORKING AS A CATERING EVENT DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR WORKING WITH THE SALES TEAM & KITCHEN TEAM TO PROVIDE OUR CLIENTS WITH CREATIVE & THOUGHTFUL MENUS AND EVENT DESIGN. YOU WILL MANAGE OUR INBOUND SALES REQUESTS, AND MANAGE A BOOK OF BUSINESS OF YOUR OWN. THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN A GROWING HOSPITALITY BUSINESS IN BOSTON.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
ENSURE THAT STANDARDS OF JBCE’S HOSPITALITY ARE CARRIED OUT WITH EVERY CLIENT
CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS, PREPARING PROPOSALS, WORKING WITH ONLINE REFERRAL PROGRAMS, PREPARING CONTRACTS AND BANQUET EVENT ORDERS, AND CUSTOMIZED MENUS WITH THE CHEF
RESPONSIBLE FOR MANAGING THE CURATION OF MENUS AND EVENT IDEAS
ASSISTING AND GUIDING THE SALES PROCESS OF WEDDINGS AND SPECIAL EVENTS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: A WEEKLY ACTION PLAN, LIVE CHAT, MISCELLANEOUS LEAD METHODS, NETWORKING THROUGH CHAMBERS, COMMUNITY EVENTS, AND BRIDAL SHOWS
MEET OVERALL REVENUE OBJECTIVES
CONTINUE TO ACTIVELY GROW THE SALES REVENUE OF THE COMPANY
SHOWCASE FIRST-CLASS CATERING AND SERVICE AT EVENTS WHILE WORKING CLOSELY WITH CLIENTS TO EXCEED EXPECTATIONS
HELP MANAGE AND COORDINATE ALL PHASES OF EVENTS FROM SALES TO THE EVENT PLANNING TO OVERSEE A FIRST-CLASS EXPERIENCE
BEING VISIBLE AT EVENTS TO INTERACT WITH STAFF, CLIENTS, AND THEIR GUESTS IN A PROACTIVE AND POSITIVE MANNER TO CREATE LONG LASTING RELATIONSHIPS WHEN NECESSARY
HAVE A GREAT ATTITUDE, AND BE READY TO JOIN A REALLY SPECIAL TEAM
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
HOSPITALITY EXPERIENCE (PREFERABLY HOTEL OR CATERING)
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
EXCEL & MICROSOFT WORD KNOWLEDGE
GOOGLE DRIVE KNOWLEDGE
STAFF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE & GREAT PERSONALITY
MUST HAVE A VALID CLEAN DRIVING RECORD
