HADOOP SME - JUNIOR

Recently Awarded Project, JTSi is the employer, Location is Columbus, Ohio, starts remote until COVID19 travel restrictions are lifted!

Ø Support planned Cloud migration to SAP Secure HANA Cloud.

Ø Provide technical and architecture support for the Hortonworks and Cloudera Hadoop Platforms.

Ø Support Cloud migration efforts pertaining to Hadoop.

Ø Administering Hadoop clusters in T&D and Production environments.

Ø Perform application installs, upgrades, patching and troubleshooting efforts.

Ø Analyze and develop processes for data ingestion, modeling, mining.

Ø Cluster maintenance with patching, user provisioning, automation of routine tasks, troubleshooting of failed jobs, configure and maintain security policies.

Ø Monitor cluster health and perform performance tuning activities.

Ø Capacity planning and expansion activities.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Ø Minimum 2-5 years recent experience with above duties, with the following;

Ø Hadoop, (HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, Hive, Pig, Spark, Sqoop, Solr, kafka, oozie, Knox), Linux, AWS Cloud, HortonWorks, Cloudera, Data Viz Tools.

Ø MUST have Active HDP Certified Administrator and/or HDP Certified Associate and/or HDP Overview Certification to start.

Ø MUST be available to start remote then “On Site at Columbus Ohio” once COVID19 travel restrictions are lifted!

Ø MUST Be US Citizen With Active Secret Clearance!

Ø Education – MUST have a BS or BA degree in STEM or related Fields!
