JOB SUMMARY:  You will assist Engineer(s) in application of principles, methods and techniques of civil engineering technology with special emphasis on computer aided drafting and preparation of roadway construction plans. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: You will review project requirements and goals, and confer with Engineer on plan preparation, evaluation of field conditions, design development and preparation of technical support calculations and reports. 

You will be able to produce drawings, layouts, sketches, maps and graphic representations as directed by the Engineer. 

You must be willing to work in MicroStation. QUALIFICATIONS: Experience preferred in MicroStation, Geopak and FDOT style roadway plan preparation. 

Roadway design/drafting and Geopak experience is a plus. 

Formal training is also a plus. Valid Florida driver's license and excellent driving record required. 

Work requires close vision, ability to distinguish and identify colors and ability to use a computer keyboard. 

Work involves sitting for long periods of time in front of a computer screen. Applicants/Interviewees may be asked to partake in a short technical performance evaluation.
