COLSA is seeking a Senior Capture Director to play a pivotal role in supporting our Functional Market Pipelines and overall Growth Team objectives. This strategic leadership position requires a candidate with a deep understanding of the business development lifecycle, strategic captures, technical solutioning, proposal development, government contracting, operational expertise, and the ability to foster strong relationships with government customers and industry partners.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key government stakeholders and potential clients to expand business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with industry partners, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
- Provide strategic guidance on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across the company enterprise.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance business development processes, improve response product deliveries, and meet client expectations.
- Contribute to the development of strategic plans, aligning business development and growth objectives with overall company goals.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on opportunities to enhance business development performance and profitability.
- Prepare regular reports for executive management, highlighting operational achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

Required Experience
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Minimum of 20 to 25 years of progressive experience in technical leadership roles, with a focus on strategy, team management, and business development
- Demonstrated experience supporting defense-related capture and business development efforts
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technical solutions and driving innovation into proposal development efforts
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Pipeline development, management, and growth experience with ability to develop targeted White Papers, Sources Sought, and Requests for Information (RFI) responses
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- U.S Citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Business
- Experience working with large government contract vehicles (e.g., OASIS, EXPRESS) and understanding of associated solicitation requirements
- Program Management experience with technical programs
