    About the role
    As an Attorney Recruitment & Development Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating all activities and processes involved in associate recruiting, onboarding and integration, Continuing Legal Education and California Bar compliance, and supporting our local departments, practice groups, management committees, and affinity groups on events, programming and initiatives for our downtown Los Angeles and Century City offices. Other key responsibilities include:

    • Partnering with the Manager of Attorney Development & Programs on the execution of all attorney development, training, and integration efforts in the office, including for fall and lateral associates and transfers
    • Coordinating various events, receptions, and dinners for the office and local departments and practice groups
    • Providing support for various local committees, including the Pro Bono Committee, Training and Career Enhancement (TACE), and local Affinity Groups
    • Liaising with attorneys, management, and administrative staff as a contributing member of the greater team to expand, enrich and maintain office trainings and practice resource
    • Coordinating CLEs for the office and liaise with the CA CLE coordinator regarding bar compliance
    • Supporting office efforts to have attorneys engage with the community through board positions, volunteer opportunities, and other activities
    • Planning events for the office, including department happy hours and holiday parties
    • Partnering with the Manager of Attorney Recruitment on a variety of recruiting related tasks and projects
    • Coordinating attorneys to attend in-person and virtual recruiting receptions on campus and executing annual in-office recruiting events
    • Corresponding with candidates to schedule interviews, and coordinating information for applicants and interviewers
    • Coordinating logistics and planning events in connection with summer program
    • Supporting and collaborating with the Recruiting Committee as needed
    • Working with the team on special projects as needed

    About you

    We’d love to hear from you if you:

    • Display well-developed and professional inter-personal skills and the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the Firm
    • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and quality assurance processes
    • Exhibit excellent organizational skills needed to manage time well, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple deadlines

    And have:

    • A Bachelor’s degree
    • A minimum of two (2) years of experience at a law firm or professional services organization (experience in professional development or recruiting preferred)

    **Compensation & Benefits
    **Successful candidates will not only be provided with an outstanding career opportunity and welcoming environment, but will also receive a generous and competitive total compensation package. The salary range for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and location. Discretionary bonuses may be awarded in recognition of individual and firm performance — and profit-sharing partnership contributions to 401(k) accounts may be given based on firm performance.
