  • Responsibilities

    This position provides support to the Missile and Space Intelligence Center (MSIC) at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville AL. The position is part of a software verification and validation (V&V) team for the ITASE Program, an integrated threat modeling and simulation (M&S) environment. Duties include:

    • Performing V&V scenario creation, testing, and analysis of integrated threat models and scenarios.
    • Performing software testing of ITASE Architecture and related tools/applications.
    • Producing V&V test plans and reports.
    • Using Jenkins and Python to execute and analyze automated test sets.
    • Gathering Intelligence data for validation comparison to threat models and scenarios.
    • Resolution testing of issues reported in ITASE.

    Required Skills

    Required Experience

    • Bachelors degree in a STEM field (Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, etc.)

    • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.

    • Previous software testing experience, including V&V testing

    • Previous experience using M&S environments and threat models

    • Effective oral and written communications skills, good interpersonal communication skills; must be comfortable working in a fast-paced lab environment with multiple contractor teams and Government employees

    • Fully Proficient in the use of MS Office Word, Excel, and Power Point applications

    • Well organized, able to multi-task, communicates effectively, produces high-quality products with attention to detail

    • Active TOP SECRET clearance with SCI is required. Must successfully complete the required DIA CI Polygraph within 6 months of hire date.

    • US Citizenship required

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Previous military experience, particularly in Intelligence collection and analysis and military processes and threat systems
    • Previous experience using Jenkins automation, Python and HTML coding
    • Threat system analysis skills
    • Previous experience using M&S environments, including ITASE, NGTS, and AFSIM
    • Previous experience using Git and Gitlab for file configuration management
    • Previous experience using Issue Tracking software such as Mantis, Team collaboration tools such as MatterMost
    • Familiarity with Windows and Linux platforms, including script development
    • Familiarity with Microsoft OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams
    • Previous experience with project management is a plus
