JMT's Florida Construction Management Team is seeking a Construction Manager to be responsible for managing Construction Inspection business in assigned region. AS A CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT, HIRE WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE FULLY VACCINATED AGAINST COVID-19. PROOF OF VACCINATION WILL NEED TO BE SUBMITTED AS PART OF THE INTERVIEW/HIRING PROCESS. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for marketing and business development for transportation construction projects within the central region of Florida
• Manages contracts, including invoicing and financial management
• Responsible for project QA/QC in the assigned region
• Manage subconsultants
• Participate in client presentations
• Maintains and builds client relationships
• Prepare technical and price proposals
• Hires, trains, develops, and conducts performance reviews for staff

NONESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists design disciplines with constructability questions/issues
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Skills Required Experience

• Bachelors of Science in Engineering or Construction Management
• 15+ years of experience working in the CM/CI or engineering field
• Professional Engineering license

QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED

• Experience working with local clients, FDOT District 5 and 7

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.

Travel required.
