    Job Description

    We are seeking a Software Developer who is excited about solving complex problems and is willing to deliver value and make a difference in our processes and solutions.

    How we work

    • We work in small teams using our Factory Agile Software Team process and Atlassian Suite to craft innovative solutions quickly
    • We place an emphasis on user interface design and the overall user experience as well as establishing system and software architectures to meet the customer’s needs
    • We encourage continuous improvement of our processes through piloting and evaluating the effects on quality and timeliness of the resulting products
    • May work up to 100% remote depending on customer/contract requirements

    • Working directly with stakeholders to understand their workflows and needs
    • Openly collaborating with a team of software developers, UI/UX designers, and testers as passionate about software as you are
    • Using cutting edge open source technologies
    • Leveraging our processes and industry standard development environment tools to ensure we deliver a high quality product
    • Learning from teammates so that every member of the team grows professionally
    • Attending all aspects of the Agile Scrum process from daily standups to Sprint reviews with the customer and Retrospectives
    • Producing design options and artifacts within the defined architecture and developing the code implementation using a modern technical stack
    • Developing and performing unit tests to merge your code into the development source control branch

    Required Skills

    Required Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer or electrical engineering, computer science, information systems, or other related technical field
    • Minimum 5 years relevant software development experience
    • Must be able to obtain/maintain secret security clearance; US Citizenship required
    • Ability to use desktop applications including word processors, spreadsheets, and databases

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience working on an agile team using industry standard management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, bitbucket)
    • Experience using container technologies (e.g., Docker)
    • Experience using client application frameworks (e.g., Vue, Angular, React)
    • Experience with modern languages (e.g., C#, Python, Node, Typescript, Javascript)
    • Experience with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NOSQL, Graph)
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
