  • Responsibilities

    We are looking for a strong leader to assist with managing our Bingo team that will plan, manage, and coordinate the daily operations and profitability of the Bingo Department to ensure business plan and values are aligned on the assigned shift.

    Required experience is High School diploma with 2-5 years’ experience.

    Administrative:

    • Must have strong computer skills.

    • Prepares reports and works on special projects to support initiatives and directives from management..

    • Attends regularly schedule department meetings to communicate information and review weekly activities.

    • Reads and responds to emails on a daily basis.

    Leadership:

    • Provides strong leadership and guidance to the team.

    • Proactively provides answers to questions and information to team members they need to perform their job.

    • Defines success in terms of the entire team.

    • Leads and drives organizational change initiatives by effectively preparing and supporting the team through the process.

    Ensures that the Viejas’s guest service standards are met with both internal and external guests.

    • Develops relationships with the guests and comps qualified players appropriately.

    • Maintains working relationship with Player Development team.

    • Resolves problems and issues with team members and provides detailed information pertaining to incident to the Bingo Manager.

    • Establishes and maintains guest networks.

    • Attends and supports all guest service training courses; ensures that all team members in the unit attend as required.

    • Maintains knowledge of and ensures team members are aware of current marketing promotions and/or special events.

    Required Skills

    • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Knowledge of sales techniques preferred.
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • Knowledge of budget concept and financial forecast.
    • Ability to work in a high pressure atmosphere while demonstrating good personal relations/people skills.
    • Ability to pay close attention to details, multitask and manage time.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and resolve problems efficiently and effectively.
    • Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to business needs, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

    Required Experience

    • High school diploma or GED certificate required.
    • 3 to 5 years of experience and/or training in the gaming industry preferred.
    • 3 to 5 years of management/leadership experience is required.
    • Provides immediate supervision to a unit or group of employees, assigning tasks, checking work at frequent intervals, and maintaining schedules.
    • A portion of time is normally spent performing individual tasks related to the unit or sub-unit. Generally supervises semi-skilled employees.
