    Job Summary:

    Graebel Companies, Inc., a Global Mobility and Relocation Services company, is searching for a Client Compensation Specialist ll to join our team of international compensation and payroll professionals.  The Client Compensation Specialist

    ll is responsible for the creation of international cost estimates that support budgetary planning and reporting for our clients.  Our Specialists calculate assignment allowances and norms and create assignee balance sheets for the purpose of sharing compensation elements with assignees, and instructing payroll departments on the delivery of compensation.  The Specialist will collect, analyze, code, and import pay registers and all non-payroll sourced compensation.   Administer shadow payroll reporting to support host country tax remittances; May work with the client’s tax preparer to answer questions on earnings, remittance of foreign taxes, tax equalization payments; and other assignment related compensation. Additional responsibilities include COC applications, year-end reconciliations and creation of the assignee’s global compensation summary.

     

    The person most likely to be successful in this role will have a working knowledge of foreign assignment issues, including payroll, accounts payable, relocation, tax, and compensation benefits.  Additional knowledge and experience in international compensation calculations, with a general knowledge of world economic considerations.  This person will benefit from speaking multiple languages and working/living abroad.  Must be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and organized to successfully manage multiple assignees located in several countries.  A person who is deadline driven with excellent communication skills will thrive in our high-volume, fast-paced environment.

    Principal/Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Administer end to end compensation collections for larger clients including monthly comp collections for US and foreign offices.
    2. Coordinate year end deliverable with client and tax provider and reconcile to W2 at year end for US population.
    3. Collaborate with multiple Accounts Payable and payroll groups to collect compensation elements and provide periodic reporting.
    4. Collect and send shadow reporting to applicable countries including any add to earning compensation related items to payroll.
    5. Work with the client's tax preparer to answer questions on earnings, remittance of foreign taxes, tax equalization and other assignment related compensation.
    6. Perform quality reviews on the assignee's compensation summary.
    7. Reconcile payroll data against payroll registers; resolve discrepancies.
    8. Perform COLA recalculation based on provider tables for multiple clients.
    9. Support the comp team deliverable by handling inquiries, issues, research requests, problem resolution or detailed research required to validate values relating to payroll instructions, company-paid allowance, TEQ, Tax Payments and Certificate Coverage. 
    10. Performs other related essential duties as assigned or requested.

    Required Experience

    Required Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of work, such as HR, International Payroll, International Compensation and Benefits.
    • Minimum of 2 years of related experience and/or training. 
    • Ability to learn and adapt to new computer systems easily.

     

    ANTICIPATED SALARY AND BENEFITS SUMMARY -  $26.50 - 30.00/hour in Denver.
