    SUMMARY

     

    Responsible for configuration and data management efforts.    The position is not covered under the Service Contract Act (SCA) Davis Bacon Act (DBA), or union.

     

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Demonstrate experience with General Equipment, Property and Operating Materials & Supplies (OM&S) actions

    • Demonstrate experience with coordinating large equipment and material deliveries, shipments and moves, and with delivering Government materials to and within designated Government facilities and laboratories.

    • Demonstrate proficiency as a forklift operator as needed; and is required to maintain forklift operator training and retain their copy of their certification and fulfill the training requirements administered by a qualified trainer as required by OSHA and ANSI for the equipment.

    • Complete required logistics documents in accordance with DoD/NSWCDD approved policies, processes, and guidelines.

    • Moving equipment, parts and supplies between various buildings.

    • Documenting items moved.

    • Monitors data via audit reports for accurate input and provide metric data

    • Receipt and issue Parts and equipment to and from the warehouse.

    • Maintain equipment and parts inventory.

     

    NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • May require occasional travel.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills

     

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND LICENSURE

     

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Must have two (2) years of experience in material and property management.
    • Must have or be able to attain a DOD security clearance.

     

     

    SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

     

    • Should be familiar with U.S. Navy and DoD supply system for ordering spare parts, inventory control.

    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

    • General familiarity with computers, and Microsoft Office suite of applications (Word, Power Point, Excel and Access.

    • Ability to communicate effectively with others, both in person and over the phone.
