SUMMARY
Responsible for configuration and data management efforts. The position is not covered under the Service Contract Act (SCA) Davis Bacon Act (DBA), or union.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Demonstrate experience with General Equipment, Property and Operating Materials & Supplies (OM&S) actions
Demonstrate experience with coordinating large equipment and material deliveries, shipments and moves, and with delivering Government materials to and within designated Government facilities and laboratories.
Demonstrate proficiency as a forklift operator as needed; and is required to maintain forklift operator training and retain their copy of their certification and fulfill the training requirements administered by a qualified trainer as required by OSHA and ANSI for the equipment.
Complete required logistics documents in accordance with DoD/NSWCDD approved policies, processes, and guidelines.
Moving equipment, parts and supplies between various buildings.
Documenting items moved.
Monitors data via audit reports for accurate input and provide metric data
Receipt and issue Parts and equipment to and from the warehouse.
Maintain equipment and parts inventory.

Should be familiar with U.S. Navy and DoD supply system for ordering spare parts, inventory control.

General familiarity with computers, and Microsoft Office suite of applications (Word, Power Point, Excel and Access.
Ability to communicate effectively with others, both in person and over the phone.
