Job Description

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is currently looking for a Buyer with 3-5 years’ experience. This is a Contract-Direct opportunity with a PCB Electronics company in Van Nuys, CA. SALARY: $24.00 HR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Key member in Customer Focus Team with a focus on material procurement and on time delivery to our customers.
• Represent material group in customer meetings
• Quote material with supply chain
• Request RMA’s from suppliers
• Expedite PO’s
• Monitoring supplier delivery dates
• Resolve PO with issues in receiving department
• Attend meetings with PM’s and Planning on material status
• Attend meetings with suppliers to revolve issues
• Manage OTD from suppliers

PREFERRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in electric component industry or contract manufacturing preferable
• 3 – 5 years as a buyer is preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Must be US citizen or green card holder (ITAR Requirement)
