Job Description
Johnson Service Group is looking for a Part Time Water Waste Inspector who will perform a wide range of functions related to customer and community relation activities associated with the drought response program. The Water Waste Inspector will be responsible for conducting water waste inspections and educating customers and communities to ensure their understanding of the local drought activities, conservation programs, and local retailer ordinances.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Investigate and respond to customer inquiries and complaints concerning water waste,
- general water conservation questions including rebates and programs, provide educational material pertaining to the water conservation efforts and any applicable water retailer ordinances, and follow up regarding past complaints.
- Conduct water waste patrols and provide routine field service including the delivery of door hangers and educational literature.
- Educate the public on current water supply conditions and drought response activities.
- Prepare reports on investigation of complaints describing the problem, the location, and the final outcome of the investigation.
- Answer various questions from the public regarding water waste and water conservation programs.
- Confer with Management in connection with unusual water waste incidents when specific
- case-by-case direction is necessary.
- Provide exceptional customer service to those contacted in the course of work.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth (12th) grade.
- Experience working with the public, handling customer complaints and service.
- Experience with conflict management.
